| I was a preteen when I first came to SMBC. My family later moved to another church when my dad graduated from seminary, where he was able to serve in a fulltime position. I am thankful to God for the people of SMBC and thier ability to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am a product of Gods amazing grace and eternal mercy. I love God and thank him for my salvation,deliverence,healing,peace,joy and the list continues and I thank him for the local body of believers who led me and my family to a place that Jesus was real and God was alive. If you want to read this to the church it might stir up some memories and spark some additional enthusiasm to see the things of God are real and activated through each of us individually. |

| I began at SMBC back when it was meeting in Howard Johnson's, then on to a building in Natick that became the YWCA and was there helping to tare down the bar that was in that building and put up walls, paint, nail, and carry out the trash along with many other former SMBC folks. I met and married my husband Dr. Kurt Wise in this church. My parents were among the first missionaries to be supported by SMBC. My husband and I served in this church for nearly 5 years together as husband and wife and before that as singles. We were AWANA leaders in the church and loved to tell of God's love and Grace to the young people of the community surrounding SMBC. We went into the project of Framingham inviting kids to come to AWANA. We both sang in the choir, and Kurt taught an adult Sunday School class. I worked in the nursery. When my husband received his Phd at Harvard we moved to Bryan College in Dayton,TN where we had a part in training and encouraging young people at this Christian College to serve the Lord and grow in him. Presently we are in a new kind of ministry in the state of Kentucky working to equip future Pastors in issues concerning Creationism/Evolutionism and Theology and Science. Which are two subjects of which my husband has expertise in. SMBC had an impact in my life at a time when I wasn't doing all that I should be doing for the Lord but since that time God has kept me busy about his business and helping my husband to do the job God has set before him here in Louisville, KY. at SBTS. |
